Published 2 December 2025.

When I first received the message saying I had been nominated for best Financial Adviser of the Year in the North West at the Professional Adviser Women in Financial Advice Awards 2025, I had to stop and take a breath.

Best female financial adviser Liverpool

To make the recognition even more special, I was then recently named Highly Commended in my category. What made it even more meaningful was discovering that I was the only person from Liverpool among both the winner and the highly commended nominees. Representing our amazing city among inspiring professionals across the North West fills me with pride.

As one of the best female financial advisers in the North West, based here in Liverpool, this recognition feels deeply personal. My approach has always been to build financial advice around people, not portfolios. Financial planning, for me, is about understanding real lives, emotions, and the stories behind every decision. This honour is a celebration of advice that connects with people on a human level.

About the awards

The Professional Adviser Women in Financial Advice Awards 2025 is an annual event that celebrates the achievements of women in the UK’s financial advice and financial services sectors. Recently held on 12 November 2025 and sponsored by LV=, the awards recognise women and firms making a difference across financial advice, marketing, investment, and leadership.

The awards aim to inspire more women to join the financial planning profession and to highlight those who are shaping the industry with empathy, leadership, and innovation. This year’s ceremony saw outstanding professionals recognised for their contributions to financial services. To be included among such remarkable company is truly an honour.

What this means to me

I have spent much of my career helping people through some of life’s hardest moments - divorce, bereavement, redundancy, and everything that follows. The conversations we have are never just about money. They are about emotions, values, and choices. That’s what I love about my job.

Being recognised among the best female financial advisers in the North West is a reminder that advice built on empathy and understanding matters more than ever. Liverpool has such a strong sense of community and resilience, and I am proud to bring that spirit into every client relationship.

The awards event

Although I was unable to attend the awards evening itself, receiving the email to say that I have been listed as Highly Commended brought an overwhelming sense of appreciation for everyone who has been part of this journey.

It was wonderful to see the spotlight shine on so many advisers who are making a difference across the UK. Their stories are a powerful reminder that compassion and care are just as important as technical expertise in financial advice.

Looking ahead

This recognition has motivated me even more to continue offering compassionate, accessible financial advice across Liverpool and the wider North West. My focus remains on helping women feel in control of their finances and empowered to make confident choices for the future.

There is still much more to do. From expanding financial education initiatives to supporting those who feel left out of the advice conversation. If this award shines a light on that mission, then it is already achieved something meaningful.

A heartfelt thank you

To my clients, colleagues, and the Liverpool community: thank you.

Your trust and encouragement mean everything. Each conversation, challenge, and success story reminds me why this work matters so much.

And to everyone nominated or celebrated at the awards: congratulations. You are proof that when we lead with empathy and integrity, we raise the standard of financial advice for everyone.

If you are in Liverpool or anywhere in the North West and looking for someone near you that truly wants to understand your journey, I would love to help you feel confident and supported as you plan your financial future.
