Why being shortlisted means so much more than recognition
Published 11 June 2025
I am incredibly proud to share that I have been shortlisted for Financial Adviser of the Year by the Financial Times and nominated for Financial Adviser of the Year (North West) by Professional Adviser Women in Financial Advice Awards 2025 🎉
While it is an honour to be recognised by two respected institutions in the financial industry, this moment is about more than just awards. For me, it is a reflection of the work I love doing every day: helping women take control of their finances and completely transform their lives.
Money can be a powerful tool for confidence, independence and peace of mind. But for many women, navigating financial decisions can feel overwhelming, especially when juggling careers, families or major life transitions. That is where I come in. I am deeply committed to making financial advice accessible, relatable and empowering.
I love my job. I love the women I work with. And I never stop being inspired by their journeys: from feeling unsure or stuck to flourishing with a new sense of clarity and control over their financial future.
Being shortlisted tells me that this kind of work matters. That the industry is starting to recognise the importance of tailored, compassionate financial advice and the impact it has on real lives.
To every woman I have worked with, this recognition is as much yours as it is mine. And to those I have yet to meet, I cannot wait to help you take that first step.
